does anyone have any idea how did they did Jake Sully's legs look so skinny ...
is there any VFX at all?

My guess is they did something similar to "Forest Gump" putting prosthetic legs on the actor while covering the real ones in blue or green, then removing the covered area.
they might have even made holes on the plate for him to put his real legs when needed, and then removing those holes.

though at some point they probably just made the actor hide his legs

Yeap .. I've read in some forum that they used prosthetics .. but may be not in every shot I think ...

In this one they looks very very real .. damn it!
which studio worked on these shots, any idea?
